Andrew Garfield instantly became one of the favorite aspects of Spider-Man: No Way Home as his return as his version of Peter Parker/Spider-Man was seen as a redemption of sorts after his last appearance in the polarizing The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Fans took to social media to express that they want Garfield to be able to finish his trilogy and now current Spider-Man star, Tom Holland, is also expressing support for Andrew Garfield to do The Amazing Spider-Man 3.
Tom Holland has been making rounds doing press for the upcoming release of Uncharted and Phase Zero – MCU released a snippet of an interview from the film’s press junket where Holland is asked about Andrew Garfield and The Amazing Spider-Man 3. In the clip, Holland said, “I would love to see The Amazing Spider-Man 3. I think what was so wonderful was how Andrew was able to kind of make amends with the character and the studio, you know, to kind of win the general public back.” You can check out the clip below!
Add Tom Holland to the legion of fan support that thinks Andrew Garfield deserves another full shot at playing Spider-Man again. If anything, his appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home just proved how perfectly cast he was as the character. He just wasn’t given the films with the best quality that stood up to what he was bringing to the table. I’ve said it before that I’m not usually a big supporter of fan movements to make these things happen but I fully support an Andrew Garfield Spider-Man return.
