Spider-Man: Homecoming Tony Revolori Laura Harrier

With Spider-Man (Tom Holland) making his Marvel debut in the upcoming CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR and many critics, including our own Paul Shirey, calling him the best Spider-Man/Peter Parker yet, excitement is high for Spidey's solo-film SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING. Along with Tom Holland starring as the web-head, the upcoming film will star Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Zendaya as Michelle, and Michael Keaton is currently in early talks to play the villain.

SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING continues to fill out its cast as Deadline reports that Tony Revolori (THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL) has signed up for the film as Peter Parker’s nemesis/enemy at high school. In addition to Revolori, The Wrap reports that Laura Harrier (One Life to Live) will also be joining the film in a "significant role." When it comes to Revolori's character however, The Wrap doesn't share Deadline's views as they say that Tony Revolori will be playing Peter Parker’s friend Manuel. SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING has been scripted by John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein and will be directed by Jon Watts.

SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING will thwip into theaters on July 7, 2017.
