Universal Bastards?

JoBloJoBlo

Does Quentin Tarantino’s WWII flick INGLORIOUS BASTARDS (or, alternately, INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS) have a home?

So it would seem. As we heard a few weeks ago, QT’s endlessly-in-the-making war tale was on the prowl for a partner to assist the (shallow pocketed?) Weinstein Co. in making it a reality. Quentin and Harvey reportedly visited five of the majors, with Universal and Paramount giving it the closest look. Now it seems that Universal may be the one to pull the trigger.

The movie, which may involve people like Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio (both have been approached), is set to start shooting (and beating and exploding) this fall in Germany and France. No other info has been made available, but you’ve probably read the widely circulated PDF copy of the script already anyway.
