Although it was previously due out on July 12, Phase 4 Films have bumped up the DVD and Blu-ray release of the unrated director’s cut of BLOODRAYNE: THE THIRD REICH to July 5. The cover art can be seen below. The discs will include a making-of featurette, an audio commentary by Uwe Boll and Michael Nachoff, an interview with Nachoff, trailers and a digital download.

The action/horror/fantasy sequel is directed by Uwe Boll (HOUSE OF THE DEAD) with a script by new comer Michael Nachoff. Natassia Malthe (below), Clint Howard, Michael Paré and Brendan Fletcher star. Despite being the third entry in the series, its plot is actually similar to the story of the original BLOODRAYNE video game.

Half-vampire, half-human, Rayne hides in the shadows slaughtering vampires and those that get in her way. In 1943 Europe, during World War II, Rayne faces her greatest foe, a growing army of undead Nazi soldiers led by Ekart Brand, a top Nazi official turned day-walker. Rayne must team up with a group of Resistance Fighters to defeat Brand and his vampire troops before they return to Berlin and attempt to transform Hitler into a vampire and attain immortality.
