WarnerMedia launches investigation into the production of Justice League

Zack Snyder elected to step away from post-production on JUSTICE LEAGUE due to a family tragedy, which led to Warner Bros. bringing Joss Whedon onboard to rewrite portions of the film and oversee reshoots. During San Diego Comic-Con 2017, Ray Fisher and his fellow cast-members took the opportunity to promote the Joss Whedon version of the film. At the time, Fisher said, "Joss is a great guy and Zack picked a good person to come in and clean up and finish up for him." As we know, Fisher took to Twitter in June to "forcefully retract" his previous statements. The actor later alleged that production on the JUSTICE LEAGUE reshoots were rife with misconduct, specifically singling out Joss Whedon as well as producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg.

Well, it appears that WarnerMedia have now launched a full investigation into the production of JUSTICE LEAGUE. A source told Variety that the investigation is not limited to Whedon, Johns, or Berg, and that in order to preserve the integrity of the investigation, WarnerMedia "won't conduct it in the public sphere." Fisher praised the investigation as a "massive step forward" on Twitter.

Fisher has previously alleged that Joss Whedon's behavior on the set of JUSTICE LEAGUE was "gross, abusive, unprofessional and completely unacceptable," and even said that Geoff Johns had made a "thinly veiled threat" to his career. It remains to be seen what will come of this investigation, but we'll soon be seeing more from JUSTICE LEAGUE as Zack Snyder and cast are expected to unveil a new look at the Snyder Cut of the film during DC FanDome this Saturday.
