Watch Dolph Lundgren pump iron in prep to return as Ivan Drago for Creed 2

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

If you've been paying attention, you'll have noticed that Sylvester Stallone is not being being very subtle about Dolph Lundgren's Ivan Drago character returning to the ring for CREED 2. About a month ago, Stallone had shared an image to his Instagram account that displayed a copious amount of notes for his next film project with Michael B. Jordan's Adonis Creed.

Today, Dolph Lundgren shared a video to his official Instagram account which shows the now-sixty-year-old actor making his way through a vigorous workout routine. While grooving to the sound of Drake's hip-hop track "9", Lundgren shows the world that he's still got it by crushing weights, slaying push-ups, and beating the daylights out of his trainer's sparring pad.

You can get nice and intimidated by watching the video posted below:

For now, it's not 100% clear as to what role Lundgren's Drago will have in CREED 2, though many not-so-cyptic hints posted by Stallone have suggested that the Russian boxer will stand in his offspring's corner for a bout waged against Jordan's Adonis Creed.

Here's a question for you: Who would you cast in the role of Ivan Drago's son? You can see who we've chosen here, and then let us know your suggestions in the comments section below.

CREED 2 is expected to touch gloves and come out swining in theaters sometime in 2018.
