The official site for the Neill Blomkamp directed, Peter Jackson produced sci fi mockumentary drama DISTRICT 9 has been activated and it’s basically a panorama of the titular district where refugee aliens have been relegated after they made first contact somewhere in Africa. They also have the usual bells and whistles of an official site but the primary setting is a great panoramic view of the district. They’re really going the extra mile to make these alien slums as palatable as possible for us. Don’t feel too bad for the aliens, though. When a federal agent gets exposed to their undoubtedly unique tech, he rallies to their cause. Check out the site over HERE. The film opens August 14th.
