WTF Happened to Ezra Miller?

WTF Happened to Ezra Miller? This is a question every fan of WB/DC’s The Flash has been asking themselves these last few months. Without a doubt, a talented performer, Miller played Barry Allen/The Flash to great fan acclaim in Justice League (a performance greatly enhanced by Zack Snyder’s full version of the film), but for a while, seemed unlikely ever to reprise the role in the promised spin-off film. The Flash was in development hell for years and years, going through many directors, and it looked at one point like WB would reboot the character and move on. Perhaps WB wishes that’s what they did, although word on the street is that the finished film by Andrés Muschietti is terrific. We saw some footage at CinemaCon, and the hype is real. However, the absence of any footage at Comic-Con last weekend was conspicuous to say the least.

All of which leads us to Ezra Miller. Over the last few months, Miller seemed to be self-destructing in real-time, with terrible rumours and stories that cast doubt on the actor’s sanity. Can Miller’s career and The Flash be salvaged? Should they be? We break it all down in this week’s episode of WTF Happened to this Celebrity, written (with Brad Hamerly), narrated and edited by Taylor James Johnson.

Do you think Miller should continue as The Flash? Let us know in the comments.
