Zack Snyder’s Justice League: Trailer teases wildly different Snyder Cut

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

After a series of sneak peeks to whet our appetites, the final, full trailer for Zack Snyder's Justice League has finally been released. The epic four-hour film hits HBO Max in just over a month (March 18th) and it's the end of the road for what has to be one of the craziest movie production sagas I've ever heard of. It's a miracle that not only does this thing exist, but we're getting it as a fully-realized feature, complete with reshoots. Imagine if, in 1981, Richard Donner had been allowed to go back and realy finish Superman II, rather than releasing a cobbled together cut decades later. That's pretty much what we're getting here.

The final trailer teases an epic end to the Snyder Saga, much more in line with the film I saw teased back when I visited the London set back in 2016. It's certainly infinitely better looking than the anemic, 115 minute Joss Whedon cut I saw in November of 2017. Snyder's gotten the chance to do his cut his way, and for that, we should all be happy. Hopefully, the film will live up to our high expectations, but I'll say this – it looks pretty amazing.
