BlackGloveKiller will star Bauhaus singer Peter Murphy

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

"Bela Lugosi's dead," Peter Murphy has sung many times as the frontman for the goth rock band Bauhaus, and Murphy is following Lugosi's footsteps into the horror genre, having signed on to star in and provide music for BLACKGLOVEKILLER, the latest film by Fangoria's Chris Alexander.

BLACKGLOVEKILLER tells the story of a beautiful predator named Miranda who hunts for prey at night.

Alexander and Murphy are planning to make the film "an erotic, violent fever dream driven by mood, music and atmosphere."

Alexander has previously directed the "erotic psychodrama" FEMALE WEREWOLF and the vampire films BLOOD FOR IRINA and QUEEN BLOOD. Murphy has experience with vampires himself, having appeared in Tony Scott's THE HUNGER and THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE.

The plot description makes it sound like BLACKGLOVEKILLER may be a vampire tale as well, but the title would be more fitting for an homage to Italian giallos. We'll have to wait and see just what's going on in this one, but it sounds like it could be an interesting viewing experience.

Shauna Henry has been in all of Alexander's films
