Charlene Amoia to topline organ harvesting horror Vitals

"How I Met Your Mother" hottie Charlene Amoia is set to star in the organ harvesting thriller VITALS, a new indie horror film that is also set to star Christopher Showerman, Sachin Metha, Tim Russ ("Star Trek: Voyager") and Claudia Wells (BACK TO THE FUTURE).

…an unassuming electrician who wakes up in an abandoned motel room in a tub of ice and his kidney missing. It’s only a matter of time before he finds his wife in the adjacent room waiting to be the next victim to a horrible organ harvesting organization. Now they must use each other’s wits and skills to escape before their captors return and their dark secrets are revealed.

Organ harvesting has been tackled before in our genre (the film TURISTAS comes to mind) and it is certainly a terrifying thought, so hopefully the folks behind VITALS can deliver some unnerving thrills with this one.

Shooting begins next month in Los Angeles.
