Cool Horror Videos: Feminine hygiene takes a strange turn in Tampoon

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

After playing at many a film festival, director Jeanne Jo’s award-winning short film TAMPOON has now been made available for online viewing. I’m glad it has, because I might not have ever seen this short otherwise, and I thoroughly enjoyed its 6 minutes of comedic strangeness.

Written by Jo with Nick Musurca, TAMPOON stars Alexandra August and J.J. Dunlap. What it’s about:

When Miranda makes bad decisions about her love life, a possessed tampon slips in to take care of business.

The festivals TAMPOON played at and the awards it earned include the following –

Slamdance Film Festival, Park City, UT 2016

Seattle International Film Festival, Seattle, WA 2016

Florida Film Festival, Orlando, FL 2016
