Could this be the direction Legendary are going with their new Godzilla?!

I know, I know. You’re getting tired of hearing that, right? It seems we’ve had several different ‘official looks’ for this upcoming GODZILLA reboot heading our way from Legendary. The only problem is each new design has been debunked with Legendary claiming they’ve got nothing to do with them. Will today’s update be any different? Only time will tell.

You see the guys over at TohoKingdom claim they’ve got a look at the actual design Legendary are aiming for with their GODZILLA flick. According to the site the newest issue of G-fan included the shot you see to the right and are claiming this is the legit concept Legendary are looking for, though the designs to the right were rejected. So they were rejected… Yet this is the actual direction the studio is going in? Man this whole thing is messy. I think I’ll wait for some solid shots to show up before making my final judgement.

Though if those shots are what Legendary are going for I’d have to say I’m digging it. It’s definitely got the classic GODZILLA feel to it rather then making the giant beast look like some big pointy lizard. Here’s hoping something along this design sticks!
