Could we see more of Danny Huston on American Horror Story: Freak Show?

Danny Huston's The Axeman was one of the best characters on "American Horror Story" of any season, so it was great to see him return to the series in this years "Freak Show" last week (read our recap HERE), even if it was only briefly. Playing the role of Massimo Dolcefino. a World War I prosthetics maker who had a profound effect on Elsa's (Jessica Lange) life, Huston's appearance made me excited to hopefully see more from the actor on "Freak Show", and it sounds as if he isn't ruling that out.

Speaking to Collider while promoting the upcoming film BIG EYES, Huston shared that “You may see me in following episodes,” of "American Horror Story: Freak Show".

Collider points out that in BIG EYES Huston plays gossip columnist Dick Nolan and he also narrates some of the movie as that character as well.  After suggesting that there’s a voice work similarity between BIG EYES and his work on "Freak Show", Huston replied:

“Possibly, yeah.  Possibly, yeah.”

So could this mean that Huston is playing Dandy's therapist, who so far has only been heard and not seen? When asked if he is voicing the character, Huston replied…

“Well, I can’t really answer that, but you may see me in following episodes.”

Hmmm…the plot thickens, as they say.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see how things play out this season on "Freak Show", but I, for one, am glad to have seen Huston back in the "American Horror Story" fold. He's just one cool cat.
