The mad minds behind Artsploitation have a busy few months ahead as they gear up to release some highly anticipated genre films like HORSEHEAD and DER SAMURAI on May 5th and June 9th, and now they've announced the release dates for Jonas Govaerts' CUB and Hans Herbots' THE TREATMENT. The boy scout slasher CUB will see a release on August 18th on both Blu-ray and DVD; below is the synopsis and trailer.
A camping trip turns into a carnage for a troop of cub scouts as a killer, aided by his feral young assistant, stalks them with deadly traps.
CUB stars Maurice Luijten, Titus De Voogdt, Stef Aerts, Evelien Bosmans and Jan Hammenecker.
Herbots' THE TREATMENT, however, we'll see a little sooner with its release date slated for July 7th on Blu-ray and DVD as well. It will also be screening at this year's Stanley Film Festival in Estes Park, CO.
A murder-mystery about a cop seeking a maniac who torments the parents before abducting their kids
It stars Geert Van Rampelberg, Ina Geerts and Johan van Assche.
