Dark Castle adds a Loft, Erik Van Looy’s erotic-thriller

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

It’s been almost six months since seeing the trailer for Erik Van Looy’s sexually charged thriller LOFT, the English remake of his own Belgian original. Now, it seems Joel Silver wants to add the LOFT to his Dark Castle…

Variety has it that Dark Castle has acquired LOFT, though we’re not sure yet if Warner Bros., where Silver is currently set up, or Universal, where Silver has a 12-picture deal, will release the flick. Either way, looks like we’ll be seeing the gorgeous Rachael Taylor and Isabel Lucas (below) in the film sooner rather than later.

LOFT follows five married friends who decide to rent a loft together where they can bring their mistresses. When the body of an unknown woman is found in the loft, they realize that they don’t know each other as well as they thought and begin to suspect one another of murder.

Also starring Wentworth Miller, Karl Urban, James Marsden Rhona Mitra and Eric Stonestreet – stay close for an exact LOFT move in date.
