A little over a week has passed since we reported on the supposed bad blood arising between HUMAN CENTIPEDE creator, writer and director Tom Six and the star of the first movie, Dieter Laser. Now, it seems that as HUMAN CENTIPEDE 3 (FULL SEQUENCE) enters pre-production, Herr Laser will indeed not make the cut. Recent rumors suggest that his role of the maniacal Dr. Heiter will instead be offered to the one and only Udo Kier!
Is this the real deal or a giant publicity stunt? One can never be too sure when Tom Six is concerned. Still, it's hard to imagine a better replacement, seeing how Laser has always seemed like a cross between Kier and Christopher Walken (both physically and performance-wise).
Apart from the recent casting issues, not too much is known about the third entry into the already cult series. There's been no word on the plot or the concept, other than Six saying that it's going to be filmed "entirely in America", "upset a lot of people" and "make the last one look like a Disney film". It seems that, for the time being, we'll have to take Mr. Six's word for it. Hell, he wasn't lying about HUMAN CENTIPEDE 2.
