CLOUD ATLAS star Jim Sturgess is being reported to have signed on to join the cast of the upcoming horror flick ELIZA GRAVES, says THR. The Brad Anderson directed film will also star Kate Beckinsale. The film is loosely based on a short story by Edgar Allen Poe and will follow a Harvard Medical School graduate (Sturgess) who takes a job at an insane asylum, unaware of the fact that it has been taken over by its occupants.
Sturgess starring alongside the beautiful Kate Beckinsale is certainly a good start to what sounds like a promising flick from Anderson. Joseph Gangemi (FEAR ITSELF, WIND CHILL) provided the screenplay with shooting set to begin this June with Oren Peli (PARANORMAL ACTIVITY) among the project’s producers. We’ll keep you guys posted on this cool little horror thriller as more becomes available!
