Yes, it’s another one of those trailers for a trailer, but this one is EVIL DEAD, dammit, so you’re powerless to resist. The teaser informs us that the actual trailer for the film – presumably the awesome red-band preview that was shown at NYCC – will be online tomorrow, October 24th. That’s fantastic news, fright fans.
In the remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.
EVIL DEAD was directed by Fede Alvarez and stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Jessica Lucas and Elizabeth Blackmore. It hits theaters in April.
