One film I am extremely eager to check out is THE DEAD, and I am sure most of you are too. This looks to be one heck of a zombie film, and something a little different in a time where so much looks the same. Check out the Arrow's review for the film right HERE!

The film was directed by the Ford Brothers, it takes place in Africa and we have an exclusive new clip right here for you to celebrate its pending DVD and Blu-ray release! The film hits February 14th and it wont come bare boned either. Anchor Bay have placed some bonus features on this bad boy including directors commentary and a behind the scenes featurette! Scope out the clip below and get excited!

When the last evacuation flight out of war-torn Africa crashes off the coast, American Air Force Engineer Lieutenant Brian Murphy (ROB FREEMAN) emerges as the sole survivor in a land where the dead are returning to life and attacking the living.

On the run in a hostile and inhospitable parched landscape, where sudden death lurks around every sun-burnished corner, Murphy has to use his wits and ingenuity if he is to get home alive to his family.

When Murphy’s path clashes with that of Sergeant Daniel Dembele (PRINCE DAVID OSEI), whose village has been torn apart by the reanimated dead, they join forces.

You can pre-order THE DEAD on DVD HERE, on Blu-ray HERE.

looks interesting, but the makeup seems a little limited. It reminds me of the makeup for Night of The Living Dead. Which was ahead of it's time back then, but It was also filmed in black and white.

that clip seems kinda cheesy to me, especially the way he throws back his head when the blood splashes in his face.
