Explore James McAvoy’s darker sides in this jumbo Split clip compilation

M. Night Shyamalan's newest flick SPLIT is coming soon, and while it might look a little all-over-the-place, it could very easily be an acting tour de force for James McAvoy, who plays the villain: a man who embodies over 23 different personalities. In this new clip compilation from the film, you'll be able to explore three of those personalities and how they act in three very different circumstances. This character is chilling because he's so unpredictable, and that feeling drives at the core of all three of these clips. Check them out below!

While the mental divisions of those with dissociative identity disorder have long fascinated and eluded science, it is believed that some can also manifest unique physical attributes for each personality, a cognitive and physiological prism within a single being. 

Though Kevin (James McAvoy) has evidenced 23 personalities to his trusted psychiatrist, Dr. Fletcher (Betty Buckley), there remains one still submerged who is set to materialize and dominate all the others. Compelled to abduct three teenage girls led by the willful, observant Casey (Anya Taylor-Joy, The Witch), Kevin reaches a war for survival among all of those contained within him—as well as everyone around him—as the walls between his compartments shatter apart.

SPLIT stars James McAvoy, Anya Taylor-Joy, Betty Buckley, Jessica Sula, and Haley Lu Richardson. It hits theaters on January 20, 2017.
