Fountain Trailer Hits

It wasn’t too long ago when we caught a glimpse at the new poster for Darren Aronofsky’s THE FOUNTAIN, and today Apple is hookin’ us up with the brand new trailer for the film, and it’s FOUNTAIN-licious!


Hugh Jackman. Rachel Weisz. What more do you need? How about a movie with more visuals and style than anything we’ve seen all year! Plus, anything that’s rated R for ‘some violence‘ must be pretty sweet, as that ‘some’ must be pretty damn graphic. Cool beans.

Scheduled to be released October 13th after what seems like forever, THE FOUNTAIN is a story of love, death, spirituality, and the fragility of our existence in this world. Spanning over one thousand years and three parallel stories. It’s also a trip fest as only Aronofsky could create. After checking out the trailer the word ‘epic’ came to mind. Plus the bit set in 2500 A.D. just looks amazing. Will it live up to Aronofsky’s great REQUIEM FOR A DREAM? Oh, I think so… and heartily surpass it. Bring on THE FOUNTAIN! Friday, October 13th people… mark your calendar.
