Fred Dekker calls The Predator’s body count alarming as reshoots begin

The last word we hear on director Shane Black's upcoming reboot/sequel to PREDATOR was when we let you guys know that the film had been pushed back from its original August 3, 2018, release date to September 14, 2018. Not a huge deal.

And speaking of THE PREDATOR, co-writer and MONSTER SQUAD / NIGHT OF THE CREEPS director Fred Dekker took to Facebook today to let us all know that the sequel is currently in Vancouver shooting some touch-ups and then adds, "I can't tell you what's beyond this fence… except to say the body count is alarming."

The film is directed by Shane Black and co-written by Black and Fred Dekker. The film stars Boyd Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay, Yvonne Strahovski, Olivia Munn, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Thomas Jane, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey, and Edward James Olmos. THE PREDATOR hits theaters nationwide September 14, 2018.
