Genre hottie Danielle Harris confirmed for Adam Green’s Hatchet III!

The last update we got on HATCHET III came back in September when we learned that Adam Green would be passing the directing duties on the film to his cameraman BJ McDonnell. Now right there I’m sure this sequel lost a lot of you. After tackling the first two films the talented Green decides now is the time to pass along the franchise? I don’t know about the rest of you but I definitely take that as a bad sign.

But thankfully today we’ve got some silver lining! You see the folks over at OBX Entertainment had a chance to chat with HATCHET II star Danielle Harris at the recent “Blood on the Beach” horror convention and the actress was kind enough to let loose the news that she will indeed be starring in HATCHET III! But that’s not all! Apparently filming on this little diddy is slated to start in the next few weeks. Natch!

HATCHET 3 will pick up where the last film left off, as a young woman sought revenge on the malevolent monster that killed her family while they were fishing in Louisiana swamp country. Sequel will continue the story of villain Victor Crowley, who first made his gruesome mark in the original 2007 pic.

Adam Green will still pen the sequel as well as produce with Kane Hodder expected to return as ‘Victor Crowley.’
