IFC Midnight scoops domestic rights to home-invasion thriller Replicas

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Two months ago we shot you not only an exclusive clip, but an elongated synopsis and a host of stills for Jeremy Power Regimbal’s home-invasion thriller REPLICAS. Perhaps IFC Midnight saw that shite, then copped a look at the flick as a whole and liked it enough to put its name on it.

Why do I say that? Deadline has it that IFC Midnight has just locked up domestic rights for the thriller, which stars Selma Blair, Josh Close, James D’Arcy and Rachel Miner (below). No release dates have been given, but as usually the case with the impressive distro-shingle, a limited theatrical run may come concurrent with a VOD release.

Co-written by Josh Close – REPLICAS gears up when:

Following a tragic incident, the Hughes escape their busy upscale suburban life in order to spend some quality family time at their isolated country home. An evening with friendly neighbors is suddenly interrupted when one man’s obsession with perfection escalates into a violent struggle, forcing all to go beyond anything they ever thought they were capable of, in order to survive.
