We've been hearing about VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN for a while now, and most of what we've heard is that the release date keeps changing. Twentieth Century Fox had originally slated it for release in October of last year, then pushed it to January of 2015, then this October, and recently moved it to November 25, 2015. Hopefully it will stay put now and we'll finally be able to see the movie on that date. If it's Frankenstein, I watch it, and I'm ready to watch this one.
Starring James McAvoy, Daniel Radcliffe, and Jessica Brown Findlay, the Paul McGuigan-directed, Max Landis-scripted film promises to be a unique twist on the familiar Mary Shelley tale:
Told from Igor’s perspective, we see the troubled young assistant’s dark origins, his redemptive friendship with the young medical student Victor Von Frankenstein, and become eyewitnesses to the emergence of how Frankenstein became the man — and the legend — we know today.
With the current release date just over four months away, we should be seeing a trailer for VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN any time now, but while we wait for that, here's a new image from the production, showing McAvoy's title character and Radcliffe as his assistant Igor.
