This year marks the 25th anniversary of the television series Friends, which means this is also the 25th anniversary of Jennifer Anison becoming an A-list star. But during a recent appearance on SiriusXM's The Howard Stern Show, Aniston and Stern discussed a film the actress was in the year before Friends, the tiny terror horror comedy LEPRECHAUN.

Surprisingly, Aniston had some positive things to say about the LEPRECHAUN gig, even if she's not crazy about watching the movie itself. Calling it a "cult classic", Aniston said,

I really thought I arrived when I did LEPRECHAUN. It was with Warwick Davis, the guy from WILLOW was in it. It was a big deal! … I really did think it was an amazing thing that I was in a movie."

Aniston also admitted that she has seen some of LEPRECHAUN within the last decade, thanks to her ex-husband Justin Theroux.

I watched it like, 8 years ago with our mutual friend Justin Theroux for shits and giggles. We were dating. It was one of those things when I tried to get that remote out of his hand and there was just no having it. He was like, ‘No, no, no, no, this is happening.’ I just kept walking in and out, cringing."

The days of LEPRECHAUN are far behind Aniston now, but it's nice to hear that being cast in that goofy little flick was so meaningful to her at the time.
