Justina Machado joins (an injured) Halle Berry in serial killer flick The Hive

Variety reports that Justina Machado (“Six Feet Under”) has climbed into THE HIVE to sit alongside Halle Berry and Abigail Breslin. The thriller, which is being produced by WWE Studios and Troika Pictures, was written by Rich D’Ovidio (from a stroy by D’Ovidio, Nicole D’Ovidio and Jon Bokencamp_ and will be directed by SESSION 9 helmer Brad Anderson.

Set against the backdrop of a 911 emergency center, a 911 operator (Berry) must face her own fears in order to save a teenage girl (Breslin) from a serial killer.

It’s unclear what character Machado will play; furthermore, we still don’t know the identity of the serial killer atthe center of the thriller.

Just the other day, Berry was injured on the set of the film during a fight scene. She was taken to an L.A. hospital and treated for minor injuries, then released. Read more about that HERE.
