Coulrophobia is the fear of clowns, and in horror we've been given a lot of good reasons to be scared of the colorful performers. From Pennywise in Stephen King's IT to Twisty in the current season of "American Horror Story: Freak Show", we've found plenty of reasons to be terrified of clowns, and now author (and fellow AITH-er) Mike Catalano wants to introduce you to a horrifying new creation, and he's not clowning around.

Catalano has recently released his new book titled "Carly's Clown", and it is available on the Kindle HERE if you're in the mood for a nightmare-inducing tale featuring a very memorable killer clown (and who isn't up for that?). Here's the synopsis:

Nick Firelli is 35 years old and has been afraid of clowns since he was 7. He is married to Laurie and shares a 4-year-old son named Tyler with her. The daunting details of parenthood coupled with the uneventful everyday grind of working 9 to 5 causes a rift in their marriage to develop. Nick becomes even more disenchanted and confused after confiding in new-hire Carly at work. His life is spinning out of control. He is worried, torn, and enthralled. The mounting stress at home and growing pressures at work become too much for Nick to handle. From the heart of this insanity, a new persona is born dressed up in a purple suit, white face, orange hair, and red nose. Nick’s greatest fear has come to life and has one hilariously violent temper. How many lives need to end before Nick is able to take control of his own?

We'll certainly be giving this one a read! Go ahead and get it for your Kindle HERE.
