One of the greater points of controversy in regards to HALLOWEEN 2 (and there are a few) is whether or not Michael Myers will be maskless for a large portion of the film. As my friend – and soulmate – Mr. Ammon wrote a couple weeks back, rumor had it that Michael was just gonna attend this year’s festivities au naturale, as wearing that mask all the time certainly clogs the pores.

Well, not so fast. Rob Zombie updated his Myspace blog for the 800th time in a month today, with a new picture and more importantly, a few sentences clearing up the controversy. Maybe.

Another question that seem to have been asked quite a bit is about the mask. Their have been reports and rumors that he only wears the mask 25% of the time or not at all.

Well, the truth is the movie is just now being edited so the exact percentage of mask wearing is unclear at this point. But fear not, Michael is seen wearing the mask as much if not more than you’ve ever seen him wearing a mask in any Halloween film.

And he’s also going to dress exactly like the hobo I always see on the subway platform who pees in a plastic bag and screams about Ronald Reagan…
