New international poster for Neill Blomkamp’s Chappie, starring Hugh Jackman

Last week we brought you the latest poster for Neill Blomkamp's upcoming CHAPPIE, a film we're very much looking forward to checking out, and today we've got a new international poster that shows the titular robot ready for battle.

Of all the posters and promo material we've seen for CHAPPIE, this could be my favorite. Blomkamp's DISTRICT 9 is one of my favorite films and I actually dug ELYSIUM quite a lot, so I'm really curious to peep what he will deliver with CHAPPIE. Besides, it features Hugh Jackman with a funky mullet-style hairdo. That alone makes me wanna drop some coin on the ticket for this one.

The synopsis:

Every child comes into the world full of promise, and none more so than Chappie: he is gifted, special, a prodigy. Like any child, Chappie will come under the influence of his surroundings – some good, some bad – and he will rely on his heart and soul to find his way in the world and become his own man. But there's one thing that makes Chappie different from anyone else: he is a robot. The first robot with the ability to think and feel for himself. His life, his story, will change the way the world looks at robots and humans forever.

CHAPPIE stars Hugh Jackman, Sigourney Weaver, Sharlto Copley and Dev Patel. This one hits theaters on March 6th.
