New Oldboy poster is hammered home

Last Updated on July 22, 2021

Spike Lee’s OLDBOY remake hits theaters in a little over a week, so FilmDistrict has brought out one last poster to smack you over the head with. This one features a gigantic hammer, which of course is the protagonist’s (Josh Brolin) weapon of choice in the film’s most dynamic action sequence. The last poster we saw also highlighted the instrument of destruction.

The one-sheet comes with a badass new tagline: Find the truth and make it hurt. Not even sure what that means but it sounds cool.

OLDBOY is a provocative, visceral thriller that follows the story of Joe Doucette, a man who is abruptly kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement, for no apparent reason. When he is suddenly released without explanation, he begins an obsessive mission to find out who imprisoned him, only to discover that the real mystery is why he was set free.

OLDBOY opens on November 27th.
