Nightbreed – The Cabal Cut getting closer? Possible TV show on the way!

It's been a few months since we've heard any news regarding NIGHTBREED: THE CABAL CUT, a two hour and 45 minute version of Clive Barker's NIGHTBREED that is said to be the definitive cut of the film, as Barker himself intended it. Our last story on THE CABAL CUT came back in June of last year when Barker himself reached out to fans letting us know that the film was inching closer to a Blu-Ray release. Today we're getting even closer to seeing that realized as Michael Plumides posted the following comment on the official Occupy Midian Facebook page regarding THE CABAL CUT:

It looks like the distribution deal is moving forward. Our distributors are presently at Cannes, but we will resume talks when they return – we probably will not make the announcement until the fall. Also we have a channel very interested in the TV show. Stay tuned.”

Looks like the team behind the film are doing everything they can to ensure NIGHTBREED: THE CABAL CUT makes its way to us as soon as possible. And that little tidbit at the end about a TV show? Now that is something to get excited about!
