OMG! AMC offers epic deal on TWILIGHT trilogy on June 29

Say you’re a Twi-hard, and it’s June 29, 2010, and you ain’t got no job, and you’re not in school, and you have nothing to do in your life but to count down the hours / minutes until THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE smashes into your favorite theater for a 12:01 showing. This is a reality for some, and AMC Theaters has decided to hook up the TWILIGHT fans with something fierce.

So what’s the deal? I thought you’d never ask… Starting at 6:30pm June 29, AMC will be showcasing special screenings of TWILIGHT and NEW MOON, leading up to the 12:01am premiere of David Slade ECLIPSE. How OMFG awesome is that???

But the deal is pretty sweet, actually. For $30, this is what the Twi-hards get:

Not bad… not bad at all. Despite the fact that Twi-hards own each of the films on DVD and Blu-ray, a $10 giftcard and a cheap p.o.s. lanyard totally makes wasting one’s life in the theater for 8 hours totally worth it! Yay!

Don’t be sad if you don’t have an AMC theater around your neck of the woods either, as it appears that other theater chains, like Reagal and Cinemark, will be offer similar (if not the same) types of deals. Didn’t you know? ECLIPSE is a film-goer phenomena!
