Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer’s occult tale Starry Eyes gets a teaser

Writing/directing tandem Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer will soon be seeing their satanic cult thriller STARRY EYES make its debut at this year's SXSW festival, and we've got the film's first teaser right here—It's basically 45 seconds of madness and I enjoyed every bit of it! It's a very well put together little teaser that offers a quick glimpse at a woman who is going through a psychotic breakdown in order to become a star. It's a very intriguing looking film that appears to offer a little bit of everything as paranoia, possession and body horror all collide in this occult tale. I'm excited to see how this one turns out as the teaser trailer was enough to leave my skin crawling. Hopefully we'll be hearing good word on STARRY EYES out of SXSW!

Here's what the film is about:

STARRY EYES tells the story of Sarah Walker, a determined and desperate actor who would do anything to land her first big role. Unfortunately this leaves her prey to a satanic cult who has been operating as Hollywood’s gatekeepers since the Golden Age. They have the power to make her a star, but it comes at a terrible price.

Alexandra Essoe, Amanda Fuller, Fabianne Therese, Noah Segan, Pat Healy and Shane Coffey all star. Hopefully we'll have more from this one very soon, but for now dig on the teaser below!
