Sylvester Stallone to star in animated show Soul Survivor?

Can’t get enough of Sly? You’re in luck! Apart from the impending summer release of THE EXPENDABLES 2 and a fifth RAMBO in the works, it looks like Mr. Stallone has some other, rather intriguing, plans. Speaking at a recent panel, Lionsgate CEO Jon Faltheimer announced that the studio has a new project lined up, called SOUL SURVIVOR. While it’s not a done deal yet (as Lionsgate is still in negotiations with Reliance, who would co-produce), the project is planned as an animated web series starring Stallone as “a last-of-his kind mercenary”.

THR broke the news earlier today and, while the project is still far from becoming a reality, we can’t help but get excited at the prospect of animated Sly kicking all sorts of ass. We’ll keep you in the loop, should we learn more on the project.
