The Darkest Hour will come this April to DVD and Bluray

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Here’s a heads up for anyone who may have missed THE DARKEST HOUR in theatres or was a fan of the film, it will be hitting DVD and Blu-ray this coming April.

The film didn’t get the best reviews, but I kind of still want to see it, mainly for the cast. Currently however there are no specs for the release, or even any cover art yet. We do know it will be receiving the 3D treatment on Blu-ray, for those of you with the facilities.

THE DARKEST HOUR follows five young people who find themselves stranded in Moscow, fighting to survive in the wake of a devastating alien attack. The 3D action-thriller highlights classic beauty of Moscow alongside mind-blowing special effects from the minds of visionary filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov (WANTED, NIGHT WATCH) and director Chris Gorak.

The film stars Rachael Taylor (below), Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby, Max Minghella, and Joel Kinnaman.

Grab the film April 20th, you can pre-order the 3D Blu-ray HERE, the Blu-ray HERE or the DVD HERE.
