The Exorcist TV show adds Hannah Kasulka

Last week, we learned that Brianna Howey has been cast to play what appears to be a very important role in the television series that Fox is putting together based on 1973's THE EXORCIST. Howey's character Charlotte may or may not be possessed, and one of the people who will have to deal with her odd behavior is her sister Casey, "the wallflower of the family".

The role of Casey has now been filled with actress Hannah Kasulka, whose credits include Filthy Preppy Teen$, The Fosters, True Blood, and WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU'RE EXPECTING.

Jeremy Slater, writer of THE LAZARUS EFFECT, is the scribe who has crafted this "modern reinvention" of The Exorcist. His story is said to be

a propulsive, serialized psychological thriller following two very different men tackling one family’s case of horrifying demonic possession and confronting the face of true evil.

Rupert Wyatt (RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES)  is directing the pilot episode, which gives my interest in the project a considerable boost.
