Shoot, Carla can frisk me any damn time!

Word out of THR this afternoon has the gorgeous Italian, Carla Gugino, in line to star as a Boston Detective in a TV movie from TNT called HIDE. And you know what? It’s Carla’s first case is gonna be quite grisly!

Based on the Lisa Gardner book, the story will revolve around Detective Warren, who will investigate the mummified remains of six missing women found inside a buried chamber at an abandoned mental hospital. The case will lead Warren to investigate Annabelle, a woman with a secret past and twisted family history.

John Gray will direct from a script adapted by Janet Brownell.

HIDE comes as one of six telefims produced under TNT’s Movie Mystery Night series, which kicks off this November. The series, as its title suggests, will feature contemporary crime stories based on true events and fictional mysteries.

As for Gugino, she took part in MR. POPPER’S PENGUINS this summer, and has NEW YEARS EVE due this winter.

More on HIDE as we find it…
