Trailer and acquisition news for horror-comedy The Last Lovecraft

Last Updated on July 26, 2021

MPI Media Group and its Dark Sky label has acquired the North American right to THE LAST LOVECRAFT: RELIC OF CTHULHU, according to Screen Daily. Cinemavault similarly acquired the rights for international distribution.

THE LAST LOVECRAFT tells the tale of a young man who learns he is the last descendant of the occult writer H P Lovecraft and must protect an ancient relic from falling into the wrong hands.

Kyle Davis, Devin McGinn and Barak Hardley star and McGinn wrote and produced. Henry Saine was the director.

The plan is to release the flick – which premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival last month – theatrically in the fall, followed by a DVD and Video OnDemand roll-out in October. Check out the promo trailer below, which is a lot goofier than the title and synopsis might suggest.
