Trailer for The Recall w/ Wesley Snipes is an immersive cinema experience

05.02.2017by: Mike Sprague

Let's just say I'm intrigued with the new Wesley Snipes sci-fi thriller THE RECALL. I'm not an old man just yet, but I really can't understand what most of the press release I was just sent was saying.

I mean, I am aware of VR becoming a thing (I even own a headset myself that I never once wear ever - it's pretty cool), and I have heard rumblings of this whole three screens, ultra widescreen, immersive experience thingy, but I can't make heads or tails of what it all means to you the consumer.

So I'm just going to leave all this info here. Enjoy.

THE RECALL rundown via press release:

The Recall is breaking new ground for immersive cinema experiences, as the first movie shot natively for Barco Escape to release in the new three-screen, panoramic theaters and one of the first movies to shoot a Virtual Reality short starring the film's lead actors.
