Allow me to reiterate – I’ve long since given up being a gamer (I do still enjoy Madden) – but if there was ever a game that could lure me back to my childhood fix, it would be this. Ladies and gentlemen…our man Freddy Krueger is tearing up the scene in the newest Mortal Combat edition!

Don’t believe me? Peep the trailer for the game below. You’ll see Freddy rise from the smoldering ashes, lace on the gloves (both hands) and slash his way through any opposing force. Hell, I even saw the dude launch fireballs from his knives. How hard is that?
