It's so simple, yet so genius: JURASSIC SHARK. This is the title of a new movie from TomCat Films, a production company that seems like it's giving The Asylum a run for their money in the "mockbuster" department. (Other thought-provoking titles: THE INCREDIBLE BULK and ALIENS VS. AVATARS.) JURASSIC SHARK has just thankfully alerted the world to its presence and I'm sure we won't be able to shake it from our minds for a long, long time. Just look at that promo poster. Stirring... And the production photos below should only add to your already-mounting excitement for the film.
Here's the synopsis: When an oil company has unwittingly unleashed a prehistoric shark from its icy prison, the jurassic killer maroons a group of art thieves and a group of beautiful young college students on an abandoned piece of land. The two opposing groups are forced to do what they can to survive or become food for the not-quite-extinct shark!
JURASSIC SHARK has a lady-heavy cast, including Emanuelle Carriere, Christine Emes, Celine Filion and Angela Parent; it was directed by the great Brett Kelly, the guy who brought us THUNDERSTORM: THE RETURN OF THOR and PIRATES: QUEST FOR SNAKE ISLAND. Can this one top those?! My god man, think of the possibilities...
