While in India not too long ago, in between putting a few obstinate paparazzi in the hospital and perusing the local orphanages for fresh orphan cargo, Angelina Jolie managed to shoot a drama titeld A MIGHTY HEART. Based on Mariane Pearl's memoir "A Mighty Heart: The Brave Life and Death of My Husband Danny Pearl", the story chronicles Marianne's journey investigating the truth behind her journalist husband's disappearance while he was researching a story on shoe bomber Richard Reid. Jolie, of course, plays Marianne and some other actors play everybody else. Check out what can only be the film's intentionally low tech poster and some new stills below. The film is scheduled to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival with a subsequent limited release June 22nd.
Extra Tidbit:
The film is set in Karachi, but was filmed in Pune, India due to security concerns over shooting in Pakistan.
