Marvel hires Christopher Yost and Craig Kyle to write Thor 3

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Not to be outdone by, well, themselves, Marvel has announced two writers that will be working on the screenplay for THOR 3. Actually, one is a writer/VP.

Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost will pen the third installment in the saga of the Norse god. Kyle serves as the senior VP of production and development at Marvel Studios. He and Yost have worked together on IRON MAN: THE ARMORED ADVENTURES and WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN. So if you need to see what their powers combined create, then check out either animated series. Yost also helped with writing duties on THOR: THE DARK WORLD.

Kevin Feige said this about the capabilities of both writers:

I am proud of Craig and have enjoyed working with him over these past years. His creative instincts have helped shape “Thor” and “Thor: The Dark World” at every level of the filmmaking process. The entire team at Marvel is very happy to continue collaborating with Craig as he continues as a screenwriter working with Christopher on the forthcoming chapter of Thor’s adventure.

Marvel is in a hurry to get things moving on phase three. It was announced yesterday that Anthony and Joe Russo were in early talks to script CAPTAIN AMERICA 3.

What do you want from the third THOR installment?
