It was only a couple of days ago when we shared the badass artwork for Scream Factory's upcoming DVD and Blu-Ray release of the John Carpenter classic PRINCE OF DARKNESS with you, and today we have some even more exciting news regarding the flick, courtesy of the King of Rock and Roll Nightmares himself, Alice Cooper. Check it out below:
That's right! Alice Cooper has recorded something for the upcoming release (as if owning the flick on Blu-Ray wasn't incentive enough to get it!). So while there hasn't been any official word from Scream Factory on what extras we can expect, we now know that we'll at least get some insight on the shooting of the film from Rock God Alice Cooper. A couple of hours later Scream Factory released the following on their Facebook page:
So Cooper recorded an interview, not a commentary, for the release. Still, it's great to have the legendary rocker involved and gets me even more pumped to own this!
Starring Donald Pleasance, Lisa Blount, Jameson Parker, Victor Wong and Alice Cooper, PRINCE OF DARKNESS has the following synopsis:
A group of graduate students and scientists uncover an ancient canister and inadvertently unleash a strange liquid from it. As the substance turns their co-workers into zombies, the remaining members realize they have released Satan himself.
Street date is set for September 24th.
