Strike Back below!
by: Paul Tassi Nov. 30, 2009

Old internet meme Ask a Ninja is back and relevant again, thanks to his new review of NINJA ASSASSIN, which he deems "Saving Private Ryan for ninjas."

He touches on how the film is more a comedy than anything else (exceptionally true), why you would ever want to name your kid "Rain," and the redundancy of the title itself. Anyone want to go take a ride in my automobile car?

Check it out below, and I will reinforce that this movie is in no way worthwhile unless you want a masters class on how not to render CGI blood.

Actually, the title isn't really redundant. Raizo is a ninja who assassinates ninjas, hence Ninja Assassin (ninja describes those he assassinates, and assassin describes himself.)

Not to mention a ninja is trained in stealth, agility, reconnaissance, and defense - not just killing. Whereas the word "assassin" describes 1 specific practice.
