Bekmambetov talks Wanted

When I caught OCEAN’S THIRTEEN recently, just before the movie began, I saw sandy castle and the horses, and knew immediately that the trailer for DAY WATCH was about to run. So I turned to my buddy and whispered to him, ‘this flick looks dynamite’. For some reason, after the trailer ran its course, he turned to me and asked, ‘are you serious?’. This shook my world to the foundations.

I was under the impression that Bekmambetov’s visuals being awesome and orgasm inducing was just basic postulate. Just an established fact you take for granted, like gravity, parental love, or the fact that you could probably hook up with Lindsay Lohan if you had a Versace shirt and a line of cocaine. I just can’t belive that someone wasn’t dazzled by the action in the DAY WATCH trailer. If you are one of those people, then maybe this isn’t the article for you.
