Looks like Blumhouse and Universal just won an auction for Damon Lindelof and Nick Cuse's new action-thriller spec script THE HUNT. And while Universal is keeping the script's plot under wraps we do know that Craig Zobel (COMPLIANCE, Z FOR ZACHARIAH) will direct the film and Jason Blum will produce alongside Lindelof with Cuse and Zobel executive producing.
I'm not the world's biggest Damon Lindelof fan but I did dig the hell out of Zobel's COMPLIANCE so I'm looking forward to him helming a Blmhouse production. COMPLIANCE synopsis:
A fast-food worker (Dreama Walker) who's accused of theft is put through the wringer as her boss (Ann Dowd), at the direction of a phone caller who says he's a cop, subjects her to increasingly harsh forms of interrogation.
