New Captain America concept art draws up the sides for Marvel’s Civil War

It appears as if the battle lines have been drawn for next summer's Marvel kick-off CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, and now we know who makes up the sides.

In a pair of new concept art renderings that Jeremy Renner was more than happy to circulate via his social media, we're getting a good look as to how our Marvel superheroes will divided up, confirming our earlier scoop about how things might shake out.

On what we can call Team Iron Man, you'll find Tony Stark, alongside Rhodes in his War Machine gear. There's also Black Widow, Black Panther and Vision rounding out the line-up.

For Team Captain America, Steve Rogers leads the charge with The Falcon and his drone Redbird backing him up. The Winter Soldier is a part of the crew, too, with Sharon Carter, Hawkeye and Ant-Man filling out the remainder of the squad. (Hawkeye is going full purple for those of you who have been waiting for the change in gear.)

Renner also threw up a pretty cool poster showing both sides readying for action, so start foaming at the mouth over the throwdowns we're sure to see in the next Marvel Cinematic Universe entry.

CIVIL WAR seems to have been the Marvel movie on everyone's minds since it was announced, rendering this year's AGE OF ULTRON and ANT-MAN almost as afterthoughts as we all looked to the future and thought of what might be. Well, now we're gaining a bit more clarity about what lies ahead for us in less than a year.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR forces us to choose sides ourselves on May 6, 2016.
